We are pleased to announce that SamMantra will be hosting a Mindfulness Taster Workshop at our studio in March for Mammas with Bumps or Bubbas!
During this practical taster session, you will learn about the Baby Mindful programme with experienced mindfulness teacher Sam from SamMantra – a wellbeing practice in Surrey.
Designed for expectant parents along with either their bumps and babies, this taster session will introduce you to the benefits of mindfulness with breathwork practices to help promote calm and positive mental health during the important transition into parenthood.
No experience of mindfulness is required - just come along with your babies (pre-crawlers) or baby bumps and try some practices for yourself.
There will also be important social time to connect with other parents over refreshments at the end of the morning session.
Sam has been teaching mindfulness since 2015, running accredited courses, retreats and wellness events, including mindful parenting and stress management programmes for groups and individual clients.
She lives with her partner and two teenage daughters in Esher. She loves to practice yoga and has her own personal meditation practice. She first became aware of the benefits of meditation through an interest in Buddhist culture on a visit to Asia as a student over twenty-five years ago.
