Keep Calm and Carry On Exercising!

With the recent developments and new government guidance regarding social distancing we have taken the decision to adjust our timetable and methods of teaching. The mental health and wellbeing of our customers is of paramount importance to us and so we have taken the decision to carry on with our classes but with some adjustments to adhere to the social distancing advice. We recognise that our classes can still provide an important distraction from the craziness of the news and constant developments regarding Coronavirus and we will do our best to keep you 'Happy, Healthy and Fit' (and sane!) throughout this difficult time. Pilates Classes taught at Sherwood Studio For all Pilates classes that usually would have been held at Sherwood Studio we will be using Skype to teach the classes. Full details to follow. Buggy Exercise Classes Our Buggy Exercise classes will continue to run as normal but we will not be using any equipment during these classes. Please wash your hands thoroughly before attending and use the hand sanitiser at the beginning of the class that we are providing. We will ensure that people keep a distance of 2 metres from each other. Post Natal Pilates We appreciate how important it is for new mums and their babies to get out the house and socialise with other mums. We would like to offer our Post Natal Pilates customers the chance to move across to Buggy Exercise classes if they would prefer this option to the virtual classes outlined above. Please get in touch if you would like to switch your class. Next Term We will be delaying the release of next term's classes to week commencing 30th April. Our evening Pilates courses will run as usual but will be taught virtually. Post Natal Pilates courses will run as usual but will be taught virtually. If demand is overwhelming for people wishing to move to a Buggy Exercise class instead of Post Natal Pilates then we may adjust our timetable to reflect this and add in/change Post Natal Pilates to Buggy Exercise. Please contact me directly if you think that this is something you would like to do going forward. Buggy Exercise classes will continue as normal until we are directed otherwise. We'd like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these strange and uncertain times and we'd like to assure you that we will do our best to carry on for as long as we can. We hope that you will support us in this adjustment as our biggest wish is to be able to keep afloat and begin running classes as normal again for Mums after all of this has calmed down. Stay well, Claire xx If any of you (or your babies!) currently have or develop any mild symptoms then we would ask that you do not attend your class but inform us of the situation and remain at home for 14 days in line with the Public Health England advice. In addition, if anyone has visited or been in contact with anyone who has visited any of the highest risk level countries please do not attend your class and inform us of the situation. Full details of the current guidance can be found below. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public
